Ready To Become The Best Version of Yourself?
Picture this.
It’s Saturday night and you’ve got a date at your fav Italian restaurant.
As you bypass the line in your red slip dress, you overhear someone whisper “I LOVE her outfit.”
All eye are on you as you approach the hostess stand.
“Reservation for one” you say with a smile.
And just like that a date with yourself has begun!
Be honest..
Have You Ever:
Not taken the tags off of that cute green crop top you bought months ago because you’re too scared of what people will think if you wear it?
Looked online for pole dancing classes near you but didn’t enrol because you had no one to go with?
Cancelled plans because you felt “too bad” leaving your mom alone on a Friday night?

“
Dating Yourself First is an online course dedicated to helping you become
the brightest & best version of yourself.
My story goes a little something like this…
Once Upon a Time,
I was a girl who was really good at taking care of other people, but clueless on how to take care of me.
My life was consumed with people pleasing and I thought that if I made others “happy” that I would be happy too.
Yet the more I focused on other people, the more lonely I felt.
With no sense of who the heck I was, I knew I needed to radically change my life.
That’s where Dating Yourself was born.
And it was through dating myself that I discovered who I was, who I wanted to become, and transformed my entire life.
“
Dating myself led me to discovering new hobbies 😍, making awesome friends 🎉, and becoming the best version of myself🙏.

Hi I’m Daniele 🙂
And I want to contribute to the “self love” conversation by explaining how to actually do it. I created Dating Yourself First, so that I could help other people rediscover themselves and start living their best life.
Wilfrid Laurier University is where my heart turned purple & gold, and where I earned my double Honours BA in Sociology & Communication Studies #GoGoldenHawks. I also was chosen & trained to be an official Student Leadership Mentor to students and staff at Laurier.
Post grad, I furthered my education by taking the Child Developmental Psychology course at Ryerson University
Becoming a facilitator in Traumatic Incident Reduction (TIR) expanded my knowledge on self esteem and confidence building and brought my mentoring skills to the next level
My passion for Youth Mentoring:
WLU is also where I discovered my passion for teaching youth how to become the best version of themselves. I was one of only twelve students chosen to be an official “Student Leadership Mentor” for Laurier’s Student Leadership Centre. My role was coaching students one-on-one, as well as developing & presenting educational/training workshops for students and staff. It’s not a stretch to say that being a Student Leadership Mentor changed my life and I’m grateful to my amazing team of fellow mentors and staff who showed me what true wholehearted leadership looks like.
At Evergreen Centre for Street Youth, I served as a youth mentor working one-on-one with at-risk teens to help build confidence, self esteem, and provide mental wellness strategies. Mentoring youth, with different mental health struggles, further underscored that mentorship is a lifeline that makes a huge impact.
As a member of the Child and Teen unit at North York General Hospital, I worked one-on-one with children and teens providing treatment through recreational activities, one-on-one coaching, and giving on-going project management support to therapists and hospital staff.
I’ve been playing soccer since I was nine and it’s one of the first places I learned how to be a team player as well as a team leader. That’s why being an Under 11 Head Coach for Richmond Hill Soccer was a fun and full circle way for me to give back to my community.
I wanted to grow and I was ready to start loving me. That’s when I discovered that self love is an inside job. It’s the result of taking really good care of yourself. It’s figuring out what lights you up and living the life you want.

There are 6 Essential Steps in the program - How do I start?
I see there are 6 modules in the course. Do I have to take the course on a schedule within 6 weeks?
Some students like to take their time with each module, allowing additional time to integrate what they learn into their lifestyle. Others prefer to move through each module more quickly, allowing time to review resources and implement changes after completing the course material. Allowing time to integrate changes and reflect on them as you learn is our recommended approach, but we encourage you to do what works best for you!
What is the time commitment per module?
When does the program start, and how do I access it?
Can I download the material to a personal computer?
